723 PLUS

The Woodward 723PLUS Digital Control manages and controls reciprocating engines (gas, diesel, or dual fuel) used in power generation, marine propulsion, and gas compression/distribution. The control may also be used in cogeneration, power transmission/distribution, process management, pipeline pump stations, utility power generation, emergency standby power, and remote control station operation. The 723PLUS provides state-of-the-art control for new and retrofit situations.

2301A

Here's the do-it-all control for use in power generation with diesel, gas, or gasoline engines driving generator sets. The 2301A is available in forward- or reverse-acting systems and in several speed ranges for applications requiring either droop or isochronous speed control. Models are available with either accelerating or decelerating ramps. This tough unit can stand up particularly well to harsh environments. Built-in protection guards against Electromagnetic Interference/Radio Frequency Interference (EMI/RFI), humidity, salt spray, dust, and vibration.

2301A Load Sharing and Speed Control

The 2301A Load Sharing and Speed Control with temperature Limiting or Process Limiting is used in electric generator systems for which load sharing is desired. It can be used with diesel or gas engines, or steam or gas turbines, and is compatible with all Woodward electronic controls.

ProAct I & II Electromagnetic Actuators

Producing 2.5 and 5 ft-lb transient work respectively, the ProActTM I & II actuator systems are electric powered governor systems designed to provide precise electronic control and limiting for gas and diesel engines. They provide multi break-point control which allows for removal of non-linear linkages.

2301D

The 2301D is a digital version of the 2301A. It incorporates all of the capabilities of the 2301A but adds the speed and precision of digital electronics. Additionally, all settings are made in the software (no pots to adjust) and changes are made quickly and easily.

ProAct mA

The ProAct mA Digital Speed Control uses a 16_bit microprocessor far all control functions, such as computing engine speed, performing the control algorithm calculations, speed ramps, etc. All control adjustments are made with a hand-held terminal/display that communicates with the control via a serial port. The terminal/display is disconnected from the control when not in service to provide security against tampering.

The control's internal digital speed sensor contains a special tracking filter designed for reciprocating engines, which minimizes the effects of engine torsionals or irregularities in the gear used for sensing speed. This provides exceptionally smooth steady-state control and allows the control dynamics to be matched to the engine.

EPG 512/524

The 512/524 and 1712/1724 EPGs are three-component governing systems for 12 or 24 Vdc operation. All EPG systems include an actuator, an electronic speed control, and magnetic pickup. Both isochronous and droop controls are available. The EPG is designed for precise speed control of diesel, gas, or gasoline engines, and gas turbines. The governor is especially suited to prime movers without a mechanical drive or hydraulic oil supply for the governor, and which have low-mass, low-friction fuel linkages.

EPG 4024

The 4024 EPG is a three-component governing system for 24 Vdc operation. The system includes an electronic speed control, a magnetic pickup, and a long-life, all-electric actuator. The 4024 EPG system is designed to provide electronic control to diesel, gas, and gasoline fueled engines which require up to 4 lb-ft of torque to operate the fuel rack or fuel valve.

AtlasSC Engine and Turbine Control Platform

The AtlasSC control is a powerfull and rugged industrial control with embeded microprocessor technology and dedicated I/O for real time control of engines and turbines. At the heart of the small and powerfull AtlasSC platform is an industrial processor with Real Time Operating Sytems (RTOS). The AtlasSC platform utilizes the industry-standard PC/104 bus structure to leverage "PC Economics", resulting a lower costs and greater feature flexibility.
